If add on will inherit subscription billing cycle, how can a subscription based service can have both one time and subscription type add ons? if service is subscription based billing cycle, how to calculate add on pricing? there is only single pricing type available in the create add on form.
- For example:
1. if my service has a billing cycle every 6 months, how do I calculate my add on pricing? will it be 6* 500 for a 500 subscription price add on or just 500? suppose you have a service 1 that’s price 1000$/6 month, and user selected an add on (1 time )add 1 which price is 50$ then the price will be (1000+50)
if user have recurring add-on, it will adjust the accordingly such as each month (1000$/6 month+ 50$/month *6)
So, all subscription based add on pricing is by default set to month? - Joy
No not like that. User will select which add on he wants. it can be one time pricing or it can be recurring based. Assume that, a content agency which provide extra 20 UI graphics in weekly basis(20$/week) in a monthly based post creation service. - Orvi
So he will be billed for a monthly service and a weekly service? - Atik
He will be billing by order not by service. Do your monthly service and weekly service is a different order? if yes, yes they will be billed separately. - Orvi
There should be a thumbnail for add ons. Are we going to keep a history of add on pricing for Orders?
What kind of history? do you mean service pricing history or what? - Orvi
Add on pricing history, as add on pricing can change after order creation. - Joy No not at all, consider add-on a service type we don’t need keep track of service pricing history
