Leads Module – UX Improvement Suggestions 1. Make Email Field Optional (Initially) Problem: Currently, both First Name, Last Name, and Email are mandatory when creating a lead. However, in real-world scenarios, a user might come across a potential lead without having their email yet (e.g., a quick chat, a reference, or a conference intro). Suggestion: Make Email an optional field during initial lead creation to allow early nurturing and conversion tracking. We can prompt the user to complete this later or mark the lead as “Incomplete” until all mandatory info is provided. Benefit:
Enables earlier lead capture
Matches real-world networking scenarios
Reduces drop-off from strict form requirements
2. Update Category Label from “Select Category” to “Create/Select Category” Problem: The label “Select Category” implies there’s a pre-existing list to choose from, but the user actually needs to create their own categories.
Suggestion: Update the UI text to: "Create or select a category" This makes it clearer that the user can define their own segmentation first.
Benefit:
Reduces user confusion
Improves onboarding experience for first-time users
3. Clarify the Use of “Agent” Field Problem: The “Agent” field is assumed to be for assigning a lead to a team member, but internally it refers to the person who referred the lead. This is unclear to new users.
Suggestion:
Update the label and helper text to clarify its purpose. For example: Label: Referral Agent
Helper Text: Select the team member who referred this lead (if any)
Alternatively, provide a tooltip or info icon explaining this.

Benefit:
Prevents misinterpretation
Reduces onboarding/support friction
Aligns field name with its actual function
4. Add Profile Picture to Lead Card/List View Problem: Leads can be hard to distinguish at a glance, especially when there are multiple entries with similar names or companies.
Suggestion: Introduce an optional profile picture/avatar field when creating or editing a lead. This image can be used in the list view or grid view to improve visual identification.
Benefit:
Enhances user experience
Makes the UI more human-centric and intuitive
Adds a touch of personalization to the CRM
DANGER ZONE
I noticed that the section for workspace deletion is labeled 'Danger Zone', which feels a bit casual or edgy compared to the rest of the interface, which is quite professional and clean. From a consistency and user experience perspective, I think renaming this could enhance trust, especially for users in more formal or enterprise settings."
"We can still maintain clarity about the irreversible action, but in a tone that aligns better with the overall product language."
🧩 Why This Enhancement Matters: Tone Consistency: It ensures the voice of the product stays consistent and professional across the UI.
User Trust: Some users (especially in corporate/agency settings) might find “Danger Zone” a bit off-putting or unclear.
Clarity Without Alarm: We still want to communicate risk, but in a calm, trustworthy way.
Scalability: If the product expands to enterprise clients or white-label use, a consistent tone becomes more important.
🔁 Suggested Alternatives to “Danger Zone” Depending on the style of the product, here are some professional, clear options:
“Critical Actions”
“Permanent Actions”
“Workspace Settings (Advanced)”
“Delete Workspace” (as its own section title)
“Account Termination” (if it's more like closing an account than deleting a project)

Suggestion: The label “Change Workspace Address” might be a bit ambiguous—some users may interpret it as a physical or billing address.
To reduce confusion, maybe consider renaming it to something more specific like “Change Workspace URL” or “Update Workspace Link”, which would better reflect that it's about the online address or slug.

Leads Section
Currently, the Leads section offers a predefined set of stages, which may not fully accommodate the diverse sales pipelines of different users. As a Product Manager, I believe offering the ability to customize or add stages would provide more flexibility and better alignment with each team's internal processes.
For example, some users may want to insert custom stages like “Proposal Sent,” “Negotiation,” or “Legal Review” depending on their workflow. Allowing this could:
Improve adoption and satisfaction for teams with non-linear sales processes
Reduce reliance on external tools or workarounds
Help us stand out against competitors who offer more rigid pipelines

When switching between a workspace, there could be an option for “open in new tab” instead of directly opening to a new tab. When an user switches the workspace, he can either switch it within the tab or have the option to open it another tab.
