This document outlines a product requirement document (PRD) for integrating PayPal, a popular online payment processor in Agency Handy.
User story:
As an agency owner I want my client to pay for the one-time services using PayPal.
As an agency owner I want my client to pay for the subscription services using PayPal.
As an agency owner I want to be able to charge my client automatically in each billing cycle when they purchase subscription services.
As an agency owner I want to create invoice with PayPal payment link.
Functional Requirements
Payment Methods:
Integrate PayPal Standard or Express Checkout to accept payments from user accounts.
The system should display the PayPal option prominently during the checkout process.
Catalog and Service
Subscription Payments:
Allow users to pay for recurring subscriptions (monthly, annually, etc.) using PayPal.
The system should automatically handle subscription payments through PayPal.
One-Time Payments:
The system should securely process one-time transactions through PayPal.
Currency Support:
The system should support multiple currencies as offered by PayPal to cater to a global user base.
Payment link in invoice:
Add payment link in invoice if PayPal is integrated and active.
Edge case:
1. if user have PayPal connected, then up sale would be show but payment via PayPal would be gray or disconnected
